The Song

Well I have picked the song I am going to loosely base my narrative around. It is Witchcraft by Pendulum. I chose this song because it can be interpreted as two different people going through their own things and being put together in this song. I like the idea of that as I think it would look interesting as a narrative to follow different stories that will cross paths at time to time without any real acknowledgement of it doing so. I also think this would work well as my comic book idea as I am not trying to make a heroic comic book like spider-man and the fantastic 4, although very successful it's not for me. I do have some ideas as to what I am going to shoot and hopefully will start sometime this weekend and post shortly after.

Curiouser and curiouser

Well I have been thinking about what kind of images I am going to have in my book, I have been thinking about the medium of a comic and the story they tel, so I have decided that I am going to make my narrative following different sections from two or three poeples lives. I dont have the complete story yet but I do find that song lyrics are a big help with creating narratives as many of them have never been made into a pictorial narrative, so I would be able to make a narrative without making it appear to be like one already made. Not sure what lyrics I will use and if I will use them at all but it's a good place to start. I will keep you all posted on any new developments. :-)

So had the best idea in the shower for my final presentation for my assignment. I going to make it a comic book or graphic novel if you prefer. As I dont actually read comics I have looked up some on the net and got to say it's not going to be easy to get the design right but it will be totally worth it in the end. Looked at a couple of Marvel comics and they look awesomen, just hoping I can make mine look as good. :-s
